Do you have the energy to keep up with a class of kids who seem to have had three bowls of sugar for lunch?If so, we'd love to hear from youWe're looking for enthusiastic After-School Sports Leaders to run exciting football, basketball, and multi-sports sessions for primary school children in Dalkey and across the Greater Dublin area.This role is perfect for anyone with a background in sports coaching or teaching who wants flexible, part-time hours and the chance to make a real difference (and possibly improve their 5-a-side fitness while they're at it).What You'll Do● Lead fun, structured after-school sessions in football, basketball & multi-sports● Keep children active, engaged, and having a blast every week● Create a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels like a star player● Ensure sessions are safe, well-organised, and don't end with a basketball in the flowerbed● Build great relationships with kids, parents, and school staffWhat We're Looking For● Experience working with children (schools, clubs, or camps)● Sports coaching or teaching qualifications (highly desirable)● Confidence leading group activities with primary-aged children● Strong communication skills and a positive, energetic attitude● Ability to travel independently to schools in Dalkey & Greater Dublin● First Aid certification is a plus (though hopefully unused)The Details● Hours: 6–10 per week (after-school)● Pay: €20–25 per hour● Extra: Opportunity for additional hours or weekend work● Start Date: Immediate● Location: Dalkey & Greater Dublin area● Contract: Part-time, term-time roleWhy Join Active Ireland?At Active Ireland, no two days are the same — except that every day ends with tired, happy kids (and often tired, happy coaches too).
