Quantity Surveyor
Due to the development of new and existing projects, we are recruiting Quantity Surveyors with a minimum of 2 years experience, based in Tubbercurry, Sligo or Oranmore, Galway, on multiple projects.
Working alongside an experienced commercial team, you will assist in ensuring successful project delivery, maintaining relationships, maximizing commercial returns, and managing risk.
Responsibilities include:
* Preparing tenders, analyzing, selecting subcontractors, negotiating & finalizing subcontractor orders, and managing financial & commercial aspects to Final Account completion.
* Managing and reporting forecasts, targets, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, and assisting with site records & document control.
* Liaising with and influencing site management team commercially while protecting JSS's commercial & contractual entitlements.
* Managing & overseeing AQS & TQS, checking and signing off their work, and resolving measurement issues.
Requirements:
* 2+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential or commercial construction projects.
* A relevant third-level qualification.
* 2+ years’ experience in report writing, forecast planning, and engaging with clients and senior leaders.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
