Job Description
Safety and Quality Manager Job Title
This role involves managing site resources to ensure all works are carried out safely, to a high standard of quality, on programme and within budget.
The responsibilities include ensuring health and safety issues are addressed on site, planning and carrying out works in a safe manner, and participating in the preparation of risk assessment and method statements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Health and Safety: Ensure that HSQE Management Systems and processes are adhered to, implemented, and maintained.
* Quality: Understand the project's quality requirements and ensure compliance on site.
* Environmental: Ensure works are undertaken so they do not compromise the surrounding environment.
* Planning: Manage and control site labour and sub-contractors, manage and control plant and equipment on site.
* Documentation and Meetings: Ensure all relevant documentation necessary for the execution of the works is in place prior to works commencing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You must have at least 5 years' relevant construction experience, a strong commitment to HSQE, Programme and Cost, and completion of the Site Safety Supervisor Programme or similar.
A Full Clean Driving License is also required.
