The programme delivers technology solutions for Irish industry ( ). DESIGN+ provides solutions in Applied Product Design for the close-to-market needs of Irish industry in the Engineering, ICT & Software, and Bio Life Sciences sectors, and acts as a portal to wider expertise through the Enterprise Ireland Technology Gateway Network. SETU now seeks to appoint a Gateway Business Development Engineer with a strong focus on product design and innovation. The successful candidate will lead the business development and industry collaboration activities of the DESIGN+ Gateway, ensuring design-led research is translated into commercial outcomes for Irish industry. This role requires someone who can connect industry needs with academic expertise, particularly in product design, user experience, and prototyping. The Business Development Engineer will manage and deliver collaborative projects, support industry in securing funding, and act as a design-led innovation champion within the Gateway. #SETUC
