Job Title: Regional Health Officer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced health and safety professional to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our health and safety team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures, conducting regular internal inspections and audits, and facilitating external audits and inspections.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with current and future relevant legislation and industry best practice.
* Conduct regular internal health and safety inspections and audits to monitor effectiveness of controls and highlight any areas for improvement/action.
* Facilitate external audits and inspections where required.
* Manage departmental programs, tasks, objectives, and goals to achieve targets.
* Monitor health and safety performance via metrics to ensure decisive action is taken when required.
* Identify, organize, and deliver training to management and personnel when required.
* Educate staff on health and safety procedures and promote a culture of health and safety within the organization.
Requirements:
* Graduate Diploma (Level 8) in Occupational Safety, Health and Welfare.
* 3+ years' experience in a health and safety focused environment.
* Knowledge of ISO standards, particularly ISO 45001:2018.
* Training, Delivery & Evaluation (QQI 6) or Instructor training advantageous.
* Experience of working within a FMCG business.
* Computer literate with excellent knowledge of full range of MS Office packages.
* Attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills essential.
