About the Role
As a Business Partner in Apple Inc.s Corporate Functions, you will provide critical support to our People team, managers, and employees on a wide range of workplace accommodation and leave-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Reasonable Workplace Accommodations:
o Provide guidance on employee requests for accommodations
o Collaborate with multiple business partners to ensure seamless processes
* Medical Leaves of Absence:
o Facilitate absence management process
o Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
* Communication Flow:
o Streamline communication from multiple sources
o Reduce delays on employee requests for assistance
* Support for Internal Partners:
o Work closely with People Accessibility, Facilities, and EH&S teams
o Simplify workplace accommodation processes
* Data Integrity:
o Create and manage high volumes of workplace accommodation & leave cases
* Training and Development:
o Create training programs for managers and People team
o Deliver training sessions
* Process Review and Simplification:
o Review processes to identify areas for improvement
o Simplify processes where applicable
* Partnerships:
o Collaborate with Occupational Health and Benefits providers
o Ensure timely and supportive review of long-term health issues
* Project Leadership:
o Lead projects/initiatives as needed
Requirements
* Significant HR experience with a focus on workplace accommodations
* Deep knowledge of Ireland and UK employment law
* Expertise in employment equality legislation
* Ability to drive innovative resolutions
* Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Proven ability to work independently
* Ability to simplify complex issues
* Resourceful and inventive
Preferred Qualifications
* Workday knowledge
* ServiceNow case management experience
* Foundational understanding of HR analytics
* HR systems and tools experience
