Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory control activities, ensuring strict adherence to site policies and procedures, cGMP/GLP, and environmental health and safety regulations.
The Inventory Management Specialist will facilitate the IC/IM processes, develop metrics for these processes, and ensure data integrity and material/inventory performance. This role involves supporting monthly demand plans, optimizing production strategies, and integrating new businesses and products.
The ideal candidate will have a third-level qualification in Purchasing/Materials Management or a business/science-related area and a minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing planning/supply chain/logistics. They should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with site policies, procedures, cGMP/GLP, and environmental health and safety regulations.
* Facilitate IC/IM processes, develop metrics, and ensure data integrity.
* Support monthly demand plans, optimize production strategies, and integrate new businesses and products.
* Manage ISS and SO markets, coordinate with internal manufacturing, and minimize supply chain inventories.
* Track CI initiatives, support S&OP, and develop metrics for material forecast accuracy and planning data integrity.
* Review and analyze forecast demand versus actual demand, notify scheduling and manufacturing teams, and support PP processes through SRM.
* Manage Change Control, own ZDI process, and maintain strict adherence to plant PPGs.
* Participate in projects and assignments for continuous improvements, participate in NPI projects, transfers, divestments, obsolescence, and more.
