Job Overview
Environmental professionals play a pivotal role in drafting critical chapters for Environmental Impact Assessments and Reports. They compile reports, manage water resources, carry out flood risk assessments, develop site models, design drilling operations, and support project delivery.
To excel in this position, candidates require a strong educational foundation in Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Geology, or Environmental Science. A minimum of three years' experience in environmental consulting is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and excellent communication skills are also necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting geology and water chapters for EIARs and ERs;
* Compiling Water Framework Directive reports;
* Managing and evaluating surface and groundwater resources;
* Carrying out flood risk assessments;
* Developing Conceptual Site Models;
* Designing and supervising water well drilling and pumping tests;
* Supporting project managers in delivering project outcomes.
