Job Duties & Responsibilities
1. Administer internal and customer facing servers and network devices.
2. Proactively manage and monitor Windows Application & Database Servers, VMware Hypervisor Hosts for Performance or Health issues
3. Monitor and support Infrastructure Health using Clients OneView & Infosight
4. Update Implemented contingency plans
5. Manage the monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions
6. Ensure project documented best practices and support procedures are adhered to and kept in line with customers procedures
7. Assist with cross training of customer team members on existing and new technologies
8. Carry out special tasks at Management's direction
9. Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.
Minimum Requirements:
10. 4 – 7 years' Experience within the IT industry
11. Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired.
12. Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019) & VMware vCenter
13. Managing in excess of 50 Windows Server infrastructure
14. Involvement of deployments/rollouts on the infrastructure
15. An understanding of LAN/WAN networking
16. Group Policy design and configuration
17. Microsoft IIS administration and configuration
18. Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration experience
19. Strong communication and documentation skills
20. Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
21. Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
22. Must be a team player
