Reinsurance Claims Handler wanted for Global Reinsurance Group - Dublin City/Hybrid
Abrivia is currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Claims Handler to join our client, a leading international reinsurance company, at their Dublin office. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across diverse reinsurance portfolios, including Specialty, Lloyd's Syndicate, and multinational claims.
Your Role
1. Managing claims across specialty reinsurance lines such as Aviation, Cyber, Marine, Energy, and Political Risk.
2. Handling binder business claims for Lloyd's Syndicate across multiple lines, including Casualty, Property, and D&O.
3. Supporting claims from international reinsurance entities, covering lines such as Property, Trade Credit, and Workers' Compensation.
4. Reviewing and processing claim notifications using core IT systems.
5. Liaising with clients, brokers, and underwriters to ensure efficient claims handling and communication.
6. Approving claims and treaty statements within agreed authority levels or escalating where required.
7. Providing updates to underwriters on claims developments.
8. Performing additional duties as required.
Your Skills
1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in (re)insurance claims handling.
2. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
3. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Proficiency in claims management systems and general IT tools.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and probe when needed.
6. High ethical standards and integrity.
