Project Co-ordinator
A leading Public Sector organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver and oversee a range of large and small-scale capital infrastructure projects. This is a key role for a skilled professional looking to manage end-to-end project lifecycles, from design and procurement to delivery and handover. You will be part of a multidisciplinary environment, working closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to deliver complex, high-value projects with public impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the planning, design, procurement, and implementation of capital works projects
* Lead design teams and coordinate stakeholder input
* Administer contracts and ensure delivery on time and within budget
* Support tendering and contractor selection in line with public procurement rules
* Prepare budgets, project briefs, and technical reports
* Monitor KPIs and workflow improvements
* Provide technical advisory support across departments
* Promote sustainable design and energy efficiency standards
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety obligations
Requirements
* QQI Level 8 or higher in Architecture, Engineering, or Surveying with full professional membership of Engineers Ireland (Chartered or Full Member), Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI), Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland / Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
* At least 7 years' relevant experience in project management, design, construction, or building services within a complex public, infrastructure, or institutional setting
* Full driving licence and access to own transport

Knowledge & Experience
* Strong understanding of construction and building regulations
* Knowledge of public procurement legislation and capital project governance
* Experience managing design and contractor teams
* Familiarity with regulatory standards (fire safety, energy, building codes)
* Skilled in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, SAP, and project management software
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Desirable: Knowledge of LEAN, asset management systems, or complex building maintenance
