Purpose of the Role: The Grade VI Clerical Manager in Radiology manages the Radiology Clerical team, ensuring efficient clerical services within TUH's Radiology departments, supporting the Clinical Director and Radiography Services Managers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Support Radiography Services Managers with clerical services Manage clerical teams in main Radiology and Primary Care Radiology Departments Ensure smooth clerical operations Recruitment and rostering of clerical staff Handle grievances and disciplinary issues with HR Budget management and business case development Manage CORE system for clerical staff Provide updates for reports Participate in initiatives and waiting list management Promote continuing education and quality standards Address patient advocacy queries Perform additional duties as assigned Work as part of a dedicated radiology team with professionalism and care Qualifications & Experience: At least Grade D3 in five Leaving Certificate subjects or equivalent, or QQI Level 5 qualification Four years relevant experience, including administration in health or related sectors Minimum one year supervisory/managerial experience Third-level qualification in relevant field Experience with NIMIS, IPIMs, and hospital IT systems Fluent in English, verbal and written Willing to attend HR workshops Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Organized, detail-oriented, with continuous improvement mindset Ability to meet deadlines and build relationships Desirable: Experience with NIMIS Hospital setting experience Degree in relevant field Reward & Recognition: Salary according to Department of Health scales Permanent, full-time, pensionable position 30 days annual leave Work hours: 35 hours/week, flexible between 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days/week #J-18808-Ljbffr
