Responsibilities:
* Office-based position providing support to estimators by quantifying mechanical services from drawings to formulate comprehensive and compliant tender figures.
* Execute quantity take-offs and populate pricing documents.
* Distribute work packages to suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
* Maintain effective communication with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal team members.
* Assist in evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure they meet project specifications and accuracy.
* Support the Estimating Team in preparing documents for tender submissions.
* Help maintain and update cost databases ensuring all information remains current and precise.
Requirements:
* A relevant third-level qualification is preferred.
* At least 1 year of post-qualification experience is desirable.
* Familiarity with a contracting environment is advantageous.
* Proactive and able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 with a particular emphasis on Excel.
* Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
* Capable of multitasking in a dynamic office environment.
