About Your New Job
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance:
Support the implementation and maintenance of the Public Sector Duty.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures, including a central register.
Procurement:
Assist with procurement processes and maintain the contract register.
Finance:
Support the finance team with new system implementation and provide coverage as needed.
Data Protection:
Act as the data protection champion, liaising with the Data Protection Officer.
Implement and maintain data protection policies and ensure privacy by design.
Data and Records Management:
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to data and records management.
Maintain eDocs.
Project Management:
Assist with rolling out project management methodologies and provide ongoing support.
HR and Facilities:
Support the office refurbishment project and post-implementation of a new HR management system.
ICT:
Support specific ICT projects as required.
What Skills You Need
Essential Requirements:
A qualification of at least level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications in administration, business, project management, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 3-4 years of directly relevant experience, or 5-6 years in lieu of qualification.
Experience in project management.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and database skills.
Excellent interpersonal, management, written, and oral communication skills.
Strong planning and organization skills.
Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
Proven ability to prioritize work effectively.
Desirable:
Qualification or experience in records management and/or data protection.
Experience in the public sector or reporting to the public sector.
Procurement experience.
