Position:
Receptionist
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The role includes managing reception duties, coordinating visitor and meeting room activity, handling calls and correspondence, and providing general administrative support to the wider team. This position is key to maintaining an organised, efficient, and friendly office environment.
What does my day look like?
Front of House & Visitor Management
* Welcome all visitors, customers, and partners in a warm and professional manner.
* Manage visitor sign-in procedures, badges, and health & safety requirements.
* Handle incoming calls, direct queries to the appropriate departments, and take accurate messages.
* Ensure reception, lobby, and meeting room areas are tidy, presentable, and well maintained.
Administration Support
* Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and courier shipments.
* Maintain calendars for meeting rooms and support booking coordination.
* Assist with document preparation, filing, scanning, and general office administration.
* Provide administrative support to HR, Facilities, and other internal teams as required.
Office Coordination
* Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.
* Support the organisation of internal meetings, company events, and site visits.
* Assist with travel arrangements and accommodation bookings (if required).
* Liaise with facilities, IT, and external service providers to ensure a smooth running of office operations.
What Experience is required for this role?
* Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or administrative role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
* Professional presentation and a customer-focused approach.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of visitor management systems.
* Experience supporting multiple departments or senior leaders.
* Experience working on a busy reception desk preferable
