Overview
We are seeking a BIM Manager to join our Life Science team in Dublin. John Sisk & Son is working on a cutting-edge development where, as an experienced BIM Manager, you will oversee the implementation of our Digital Project Delivery strategy across projects within the Business Unit. This role provides support and leadership to develop and manage a successful DPD strategy from pre-contract through to project delivery and handover.
This is a full-time, permanent, site-based role in Dublin, integral to our site team operations for the successful delivery and handover of projects.
BIM documentation experience is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
1. Supporting pre-construction with review of tender documents to identify BIM and Digital requirements.
2. Technical review of 3D BIM models for federation, engineering checks, clash detection, logistics, and cost management.
3. Supporting production and delivery of project BEP, MIDP, MPDT, and ensuring responsibilities are clear.
4. Leading the DPD kick-off meeting with the project management team to review and finalize the DPD strategy.
5. Mentoring BIM Engineers as needed.
Experience
1. Experience on multi-disciplinary projects with BIM Level 2 requirements.
2. Crucial BIM documentation experience.
3. Excellent communication skills, proficient in MS Office.
Qualifications
1. Experience with Autodesk Revit, Viewpoints for Projects / Dalux (or similar CDE), Synchro Pro, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Lumion, and other rendering software.
2. Third-level qualification in construction, computing, or related discipline.
