PLEASE NOTE: This role requires a recognised professional qualification in Librarianship in addition to a degree (NFQ Level 8 or above). Applicants who do not have a recognised professional qualification in Librarianship will NOT be eligible for shortlisting.

Salary: Assistant Librarian salary scale: (Assistant Librarian 2: €50,789 to € 62,252 per annum; Assistant Librarian 1: € 59,643 to € 71,172 per annum) (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011) and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the QA321 University’s Remuneration & Payroll Policy.
This appointment will be made on the Assistant Librarian 2/Assistant Librarian 1 payscale in line with current Government pay policy.

Interviews are expected to take place online on 1 September 2025. Please note that a panel may be formed from which future full or part-time vacancies in this area may be filled.
