The role:
Financial Ownership (c.70%)
Full responsibility for financial control, reporting, and governance
Multi-entity and multi-jurisdictional oversight
Construction-specific compliance (RCT experience a strong advantage)
Clear, decision-useful reporting for senior leadership and board
Leadership & capability (c.30%)
Lead and develop a Finance & Administration team
Build clarity, accountability, and future capability
Act as a trusted partner across operations and leadership
You will operate at Finance Director level from day one, with a planned transition into a member of the Senior Management Team and the Board of Directors.
Who this will suit
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
Have led finance in a growing, operational business
Are comfortable being hands-on while thinking strategically
Enjoy working closely with teams and understanding how work actually gets done
Believe strong processes exist to help people succeed, not slow them down
Construction or engineering exposure is highly advantageous, but mindset and leadership style matter just as much.
