MayoContract: Fixed-term (Feb/March – mid-Nov)Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week)Salary: €30,000–€35,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)We're seeking a hands-on Lodge Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, guest experiences, and team coordination at BigStyle Lodge and its subsidiary businesses. You'll balance operational delivery with leadership, organisation, and excellent customer care.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily lodge operations, events, and guest stays.Ensure high guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.Act as the main on-site contact for guests and partners; resolve issues professionally.Hire, schedule, and support staff and volunteers; promote a positive team environment.Coordinate events, catering, and logistics; liaise with suppliers.Maintain health & safety standards, including fire safety and first aid.Conduct routine property checks; troubleshoot minor maintenance issues; liaise with contractors.Manage stock, place orders, and maintain accurate records.Assist with administration, reservations, and wider company projects as needed.Essential Requirements:Experience in hospitality, accommodation, or guest-facing roles.Ability to maintain high health & safety standards.Fire Safety and First Aid previously trained (up-to-date certification a plus).Strong organisational, communication, and people-management skills.Confident with computers, email, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.Ability to remain calm and adaptable in a busy, event-driven environment.Must live locally or be willing to relocate (accommodation not provided).Full, clean driving license.Desirable:Event, lodge, or retreat accommodation experience.Maintenance or facilities experience.Knowledge of booking systems.What We Offer:Fixed-term, full-time role in a unique coastal lodge setting.Flexible working hours, autonomy, and access to on-site facilities.Meals provided during event weekends; supportive team environment.Competitive salary based on experience.Job Type: Fixed termContract length: 9 monthsPay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company eventsEmployee discountFood allowanceOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
