Digital Marketing Professional
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join our team at Birr Castle Demesne. Reporting to the Visitor Experience & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for achieving the marketing and sales goals as set out by the management board.
The aim is on increasing market presence and visitor numbers and maintaining a unique tourist attraction in Co Offaly and the Hidden Heartlands.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create and develop the digital marketing strategy for Birr Castle Demesne, including planning and implementing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
2. Social Media Management - manage all social media advertising and content calendar, generating interesting and relevant content.
3. Responsible for delivery of photo and video assets and ensuring the content bank is up-to-date.
4. Analytical Reporting - provide detailed reporting using various analytical tools to track campaign performance and effectiveness of digital marketing activity, with recommendations for improvement.
5. Email Marketing - design and optimize email marketing campaigns to members and segmented audiences.
6. Search Engine Marketing & Search Engine Optimisation - manage targeted campaigns, including keyword research, optimization, and implementation.
7. Reputation Management – Inform senior management of online reputation via review websites and agree management of same.
8. Customer Relationship Management – daily management of CRM system including contact management, audience list segmentation, email marketing, automations, and reporting.
9. Copywriting – Create engaging copywriting for multiple digital channels, campaigns, and promotions.
10. Website management, updating WordPress to ensure current information and proof-read.
11. PR digital support to help facilitate special groups.
12. Collaborate with tourism partners to create engaging content.
13. Assist with event planning, coordination, and implementation (and deliver Ad-Hoc projects as required).
14. Attend digital marketing workshops and collaborate with tourism partners on marketing developments.
15. Working with internal team on digital plans that promote seasonal activities driving sales.
Requirements
1. Third level qualification in Digital Marketing.
2. Minimum of 2-3 Years experience in a similar role.
3. Excellent knowledge and experience of social media platforms and best practices.
4. Strong Experience in data analytics and content creating tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
5. Knowledge and practical experience in managing SEO/SEM.
6. Experience in marketing databases, email marketing, and Google analytics.
7. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
8. Full driving license is required.
