Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic practice in Kilcock, County Kildare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional clinical care and providing outstanding patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality veterinary care to all patients, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
* Perform routine surgeries, dental procedures, and diagnostic investigations with efficiency and precision.
* Conduct thorough consultations and examinations, diagnosing and treating a range of medical conditions in pets.
* Offer expert advice on preventative healthcare, vaccinations, and nutrition for animals.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, ensuring compliance with relevant codes of practice.
* Engage with clients to provide clear explanations and compassionate support during treatments or procedures.
* Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior veterinary staff or nurses as required.
Requirements:
* A degree in Veterinary Medicine from a reputable institution.
* Strong clinical and surgical skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with clients and colleagues.
* Compassionate and empathetic approach to both animals and their owners.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
* High standards of patient care and a keen attention to detail.
