Excel Healthcare are recruiting a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join a Children's Disability Network Team in Blanchardstown, Dublin.
This is a permanent, pensionable role where you'll be supported through regular supervision, CPD, and career development opportunities while working as part of an innovative and collaborative team.
Job Purpose
As a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist, you will deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to children (0-18 years) with physical, sensory, intellectual, and learning disabilities, including autism and developmental delay.
You will work directly with children and families to support independence, participation, and everyday living, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of Speech & Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide assessment, planning, intervention, and review of occupational therapy programmes tailored to children and families
2. Deliver needs-based, outcome-focused care guided by the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP)
3. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated care and goal setting
4. Maintain professional standards in assessment, documentation, reporting, and service delivery
5. Uphold best practice in line with HSE policies, HIQA standards, and Progressing Disabilities Programme
6. Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in practice and the workplace
Essential Requirements
7. BSc in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent recognised qualification)
8. CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist
9. Previous experience working with Paediatrics (desirable)
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
11. Full driving licence and access to a car
