A well-established and growing freight forwarding company based in Cork is seeking an Internal Freight Sales Executive to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with experience in freight forwarding who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Generate new business opportunities within the Irish freight and logistics market
Manage inbound sales enquiries and provide competitive freight quotations
Follow up on leads and convert opportunities into confirmed business
Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity within CRM systems
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
Required Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in freight forwarding sales or internal freight sales
Strong knowledge of import/export processes across air, sea, and/or road freight
Experience working within the Irish logistics or freight market
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
