About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and visitors at all times.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* To work alongside chefs and assist with food preparation to the required company standards of food hygiene.
* Maintain supply of clean dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots etc. for all outlets in the hotel.
* Maintain a clean kitchen environment by assisting kitchen staff by following standard cleaning practices.
* Sweep and mop the entire kitchen and still room floor.
* Wash all clearing counters and shelves.
* Monitor waste levels in all bins and remove waste when needed.
* Follow proper safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
* Ensure all breakages are reported to the Head Chef.
Requirements:
* Flexibility in working hours as role includes shifts in the morning/evening, weekends, Christmas & public holidays.
* The candidate must legally be able to work past 11pm throughout the week.
* Previous experience working in a Kitchen environment i.e. hotel, restaurant, bar.
