INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:Job Title – Contracts ManagerProject – Pharma, Industrial & Commercial SectorsJob Location – Cork Region Salary – €100K - €120K+ with excellent benefits package*Salary very negotiable depending on the person*About the CompanyWorking with a leading Main Contractor who specialise in building within the industrial/pharma sector, across Ireland.They have recently secured a number of new projects in the Munster area and require a string Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects in Cork valued between €10M and €60M.The ideal candidate will have 10+ Years experience managing large Irish construction projects from early pre-con stages right thought to onsite delivery and handover.The successful candidate will help drive a new division of the business – which offers fantastic opportunity for progression.The RoleCoordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.Work along the design team to plan works for new projects and create programme for new projects.Manage projects through all aspects of construction from tender submission to handover.Report to, and support the Director.Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Project Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.Oversee multiple projects at a time and ensure that any issues that arrive during construction are handled in a timely manner without compromising the standard of works.RequirementsDegree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager/ Senior Project Manager with a main contractor in Ireland.Proven experience of overseeing high value projects from concept through to completion.Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.Experience managing multiple subcontractors and projects at a time.Ability to work closely with the design team to ensure a smooth delivery of a high standard project.Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.For any additional information on the role, please contact Tanya McCann at Inform3 Recruitment.INFORM3 Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer.
