We are recognized for our innovative approach and are involved in maturing, distilling and bottling craft Irish Whiskey for the global market.
We are looking for a part-time Cleaning Operative to join our team in West Cork Distillers. Many of our team work flexibly and we are open to discussing options with candidates. The role will involve afternoon work 4-5 days a week with flexibility around hours. The job includes physical duties such as lifting, carrying, and pushing bins, mop buckets and vacuum cleaners. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. West Cork Distillers is an equal opportunities employer.
What You'll Do
* Thorough cleaning of surfaces and floors in allocated rooms, corridors and offices.
* Thorough cleaning of rooms including changing rooms and toilet areas.
* Cleaning of public areas as allocated.
* Cleaning, wiping and sweeping in canteen areas and staff rooms as required.
* Mopping and making safe any water or spills on floors.
* Safe removal of waste and litter to allocated disposal points.
* Maintain an adequate supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitiser and soap.
* Report any damage or hazard.
* Ensure mops, cloths, etc. are clean and left to dry as appropriate.
* Maintain floor areas and surfaces to the highest standards of cleanliness.
* Comply with Health and Safety practices and quality standards within West Cork Distillers.
* Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
