Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate MIG welding machines to weld and assemble metal parts according to specifications.
* Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
* Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Work closely with the production team to address and resolve fabrication challenges.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety guidelines are met.
* Document welding activities, including materials used and processes followed.
* Participate in team meetings and provide input on workflow improvements.
* Engage in ongoing training to enhance skills and stay updated on welding techniques.
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant welding certifications are a plus.
* Demonstrable experience as a MIG Welder or in a similar position within a manufacturing setting.
* Strong understanding of MIG welding techniques and experience with various metals.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
* Attention to detail with a strong focus on producing quality welds.
* Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the role.
* Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
* Flexibility to adapt to different projects and work environments.
