Job OverviewThe Financial Reporting Supervisor will be responsible for preparing financial statements for HedgeServ’s strategic clients in compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS or Luxembourg GAAP, under the supervision of the Financial Reporting Manager and/or Director. The role ensures timely and accurate delivery of financial statements while building relationships with Investment Managers, Auditors and colleagues across multiple global offices.Hybrid Working: This position may require time spent both in the office and working from home.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial statements, including primary statements and all note disclosures, ensuring they are drafted in accordance with the regulations of the fund domicile, the relevant GAAP of the fund (primarily US GAAP, IFRS or Luxembourg GAAP), and the constituting documents of the fund (prospectus / offering memorandum) and Investment Manager/Auditor instructions.Develop template financial statements utilizing both the HedgeServ Financial Reporting tool and a third‑party bespoke financial reporting application.Coordinate weekly calls between Auditors, Investment Managers and HedgeServ, track the status of the financial reporting project against agreed milestones, and resolve ad‑hoc queries in relation to GAAP or local regulations.Build a detailed knowledge of GAAP to identify the range of permissible disclosures that best fit the ethos of each Investment Manager; challenge Auditors when appropriate to add value to the process.Build a detailed knowledge of regulations (e.g., AIFMD, UCITS, and CFTC) to understand permissible disclosures under local legislation that align with the Investment Manager’s ethos.Ensure all Investment Manager and Auditor queries on financial statements are resolved in a timely manner.Identify and investigate errors or problems in a timely fashion, escalating as required.Deliver all work on schedule to meet agreed timelines.Maintain positive relationships with business stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business.Certified Public Accountant status is preferred but not required.Experience and understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, or Luxembourg GAAP.At least 3–4 years of experience in audit, fund administration or fund accounting within the asset management and investment fund industry (experience at a Big4 audit firm is a plus).Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements pertaining to the funds industry.Skills RequiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Take ownership of designated tasks.Strong IT skills, proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Strong attention to detail and well organized.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Flexibility to work effectively both within a team structure and independently.BenefitsCompetitive compensation and benefits package including a retirement plan.Paid vacation and sick leave.HMO coverage for you and your dependents from day1.Professional environment with great development opportunities.Work in a culture that rewards results.
