The Role You'll be expected to own the numbers as well as explain them—maintaining the integrity of our financial records while delivering the analytics that drive decision-making.
This isn't a "sit back and supervise" job.
You'll be posting the journals, reconciling the balance sheet, and filing the returns.

You'll work closely with the wider finance team and operational managers.
This is a massive opportunity for a Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified accountant to step up and run a full finance function.
What You'll Do Drive Financial Analytics & Reporting – You won't just dump data; you'll assist with dashboards and reporting that tell the story behind the numbers.
Own the General Ledger & Assets – You are responsible for GL entries and the Fixed Assets Register.
You'll perform the reconciliations and manage the lead schedules personally.
Manage Weekly Payroll – Ensuring our team is paid accurately and on time.
This is a critical, deadline-driven task that you will own end-to-day.
Manage Tax & Compliance – Handling VAT and other tax filings with absolute precision.
Support Licensing – Assisting with the licensing and compliance activities that keep our business running legally and safely.
Resolve Accounting Issues – You identify discrepancies and fix them, maintaining clean reconciliations for all balance sheet items.
Maintain Rigorous Records – Keeping accounting documentation and procedures up to date and bulletproof.
Tackle Ad Hoc Challenges – Performing ad hoc accounting tasks as the business needs them.

What You'll Work With Advanced Excel – You'll be building models and handling large datasets.
Payroll Systems – Managing weekly processing for a diverse workforce.
The General Ledger – assume ownership of General Ledger entries and Fixed Assets Register, performing reconciliations and lead schedules Compliance Frameworks – assist with tax regulations and filings.
What We're Looking For You are Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified – (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, etc.).
You have the technical foundation and are ready to apply it in a role with real responsibility.
You are an Excel Pro – proficiency is non-negotiable.
You are comfortable manipulating data to find answers.
You are Highly Organised – You can juggle payroll deadlines, tax filings, and month-end reporting without dropping the ball.
You are a Self-Starter – You don't wait to be told what to do.
