Project Management Lead — Quantity Surveying Expertise
\
Oversee the entire project lifecycle for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across Ireland and the UK.
\
Key Responsibilities
\
\
1. Define and control project scope, timelines, budgets, and risk management plans to align with business objectives.
\
2. Lead project teams and coordinate stakeholders to achieve delivery milestones.
\
3. Manage procurement process for contractors, consultants, and suppliers according to company policy and project requirements.
\
4. Apply quantity surveying expertise in cost planning, tendering, contract negotiations, and change control.
\
5. Administer contracts ensuring payment schedules, claims, and variations are managed effectively.
\
6. Ensure compliance with building control regulations, including energy performance, fire safety, structural integrity, and accessibility standards.
\
7. Liaise with approved inspectors, building control authorities, and design consultants to manage inspections and obtain compliance certificates.
\
8. Stay current with changes in building legislation and local authority requirements in both jurisdictions.
\
9. Promote high standards of quality, health & safety, and environmental performance on all projects.
\
10. Maintain thorough and auditable project documentation in line with governance and compliance standards.
\
11. Requirements:
\

12. Qualifications: Degree-qualified in quantity surveying, construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
\
13. Experience: Minimum 10 years' project management experience in construction and property development.
\
14. Chartered or working towards professional chartership (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB, MCIArb or equivalent).
\
15. Expertise: Proven expertise in procurement, cost control, contract administration, and contractor management.
\
16. Understanding: In-depth understanding of building control requirements across both Ireland and the UK.
\
17. Skills: Proficient in tools such as MS Project, Asta Powerproject, or Primavera. Experience with Procore or similar project management platforms is a strong advantage.
\
