Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
The suitable candidate will have an interest in working in a diverse community organisation which provides services across Ballyfermot for service users throughout their lives. This role involves supporting the entire team in all aspects of service particularly in the areas of preventative and responsive maintenance, health & safety tours, audits & fire drills, assisting in room set up and clean up, assisting in supporting the youth team with porter type duties with youth activities; supporting in maintaining the high standard of hygiene in both the internal and external perimeter of the building. A flexible approach and unsocial hours may be required at times as Familibase is a needs led organisation. The successful candidate will be reguired to participate and engage in mandatory training in line with legislative reguirements such as Manual Handling, fire safety, first aid and child protection. Job specific training will be delivered including induction training, a shadowing introductory period and Therapeutic crisis intervention training. A career goal will be be planned with the CE Supervisor and any training in relation to this goal will be accommodated where possible.
