Job Title: Mechanical Plant Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain all assigned equipment/systems, ensuring timely completion of scheduled, preventive, and unplanned tasks in a safe and satisfactory manner.
* Assist in reviewing spare parts levels to ensure they meet requirements for change outs.
* Task management, scheduling resources, monitoring progress, and quality of assigned tasks.
* Maintain awareness and compliance with cGMP regulations, ensuring equipment owners have available spare parts on SAP.
* Plan and manage improvement and upgrade projects to enhance overall reliability and safety.
* Liaise with planners, prioritizing workflow, organizing plant engineering support for CIP meeting outcomes, and managing maintenance contractors.
* Participate in root cause analysis, deviations, and resolution teams, conducting risk assessments, BBS, and BBQ's, documenting potential hazards and reporting non-conformances promptly.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Marine and Plant Engineering (or equivalent experience).
* 5-10 years of engineering and project experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectors.
* Self-starter, able to lead design teams and coordinate efforts of others.
* Good communication skills, ability to lead technical and safety reviews.
* Chartered status desirable.
