Responsibilities
Deliver efficient, high-quality audit and accounting service to a portfolio of clients, including audits, large SMEs, and third‑party reporting engagements
Ensure overall compliance of the audit and accounts function in line with relevant standards
Mentor, train, develop, and supervise members of the audit team
Communicate effectively with partners, clients, and internal teams
Conduct audits of SME companies, including those reporting to regulatory bodies
Prepare financial statements for larger audit‑exempt companies
Provide technical support to the accounting and audit team
Prepare and present reports to clients and partners as required
Handle ad‑hoc queries from clients, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
Experience in a similar role within practice
Minimum of 2 years’ post‑qualification experience in audit within practice
In‑depth knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
Strong technical ability
Strong IT skills, including experience with accounting and audit software
Excellent communication skills, ability to build teams and manage client relationships effectively
