Nighttime Operations Management Role
About the Job:
The Nighttime Operations Manager is a critical position that ensures the smooth operation of our service station during nighttime hours.
Reporting to the Retail & Forecourt Manager, you will oversee all retail and forecourt activities, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining store appearance and stock management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage nighttime staff, ensuring necessary tasks are completed efficiently.
* Maintain high-quality customer service standards at all times.
* Effective induction and training of new nighttime employees.
* Communicate operational matters to daytime staff, providing seamless handovers.
* Assist in managing store operations, including merchandising, housekeeping, and cash handling policies.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and guidelines.
* Deal with customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
* Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
* Minimise stock loss through wastage, damage, and pilferage.
* Adhere to food management and waste systems.
Requirements:
* 1 year of retail supervisory experience required.
* Valid work authorisation for Ireland.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with prolonged periods of standing.
