Business Development and Pricing Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial activities and be skilled in the analysis and development of pricing strategies, product catalogues, and customer proposals. They will work closely with experienced commercial and technical teams to maintain and develop commercial proposals for customers.


Key Responsibilities:

* Reporting on all activities to senior management.
* Analysis of company products in alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
* Annual or bi-annual review of commercial proposals for all customers.
* Ensuring that all proposals are valid.
* Supporting the rollout of customer contracts.
* Maintenance and update of pricing within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
* Development and maintenance of EPAR catalogues for the company's products.
* Continuous analysis of cost and market price developments of repairs to individual engine parts and derivation of measures in cooperation with the Commercial Manager and technical departments.
* Development of measures to optimize internal calculation and offer processes and ensuring their implementation.
* Contribution to data input into business plans and establishment of pricing for New Product Introduction (NPI) repairs to existing product portfolios based on market competitor analysis and profit evaluation.
* Responding to Requests for Quotations (RFQs) as required.


Requirements:

* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar type of role ideally in the Aviation industry.
* Problem-solving ability in a rapidly changing environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work at all levels within the organization.
* Ability to work under sustained pressure in a highly competitive environment.
* Good knowledge of internal processes and relationships.
* Motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic self-starter who can work independently.
* Diplomacy and negotiating skills.
* Ability to identify business issues and barriers.
