About the role….
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead client relationships, drive event delivery, and support business growth within a fast-paced events agency environment. This role requires a strong blend of client servicing, project management and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management

Act as the primary point of contact for key clients
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Understand client objectives and translate them into event strategies
Provide proactive recommendations to enhance client outcomes
Event Delivery

Lead the end-to-end delivery of events (live, virtual, and hybrid)
Oversee timelines, budgets and resource allocation
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
Manage suppliers, venues and third-party partners
Own account budgets, forecasting, and profitability
Prepare proposals, costings, and client presentations
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
Support new business pitches and tender responses
Mentor and support junior account managers and executives
Collaborate with internal teams (creative & operations)
Delegate effectively while maintaining oversight of delivery quality
Strategic Contribution

Contribute to agency growth strategy and client development plans
Monitor industry trends and bring innovative ideas to clients
Ensure high standards of service and continuous improvement
Key Requirements:
Experience

8+ years’ experience in an events agency or similar environment
Proven track record in managing large‑scale or high‑profile events
Strong experience handling multiple clients and projects simultaneously
Skills

Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
Strong project management and organisational ability
Commercial awareness with budget management experience
Confident presenter with strong communication skills
Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail
Personal Attributes

Highly organised and proactive
Calm under pressure with strong decision‑making ability
Collaborative and team‑oriented
Flexible and willing to travel as required
