HR Manager
We're partnering with a
well-established, mission-driven not-for-profit organisation
to recruit for a HR Manager. Values-led, growth-focused and entering a significant phase of transformation and growth, the organisation is now seeking an experienced
HR Manager
to take full ownership of the people agenda.
Reporting to the
Director of Corporate Services
, this is a
senior, high-impact role
offering genuine influence at leadership level. You'll lead HR end-to-end, modernise practices, strengthen compliance and governance, and help shape a high-performing, inclusive culture as the organisation scales.
This role will suit someone who enjoys
getting the fundamentals right first
, while also thinking strategically about what "great" looks like in the next 12–24 months.
The Opportunity
Following a period of structural change and renewed focus on growth, the organisation is now
leaner, more agile and expanding quickly
. With c.80 employees today and plans to
double in size over the next 12–18 months
, HR is central to enabling that journey.
There is significant scope to
reset, rebuild and elevate
the HR function — from completing a full HR audit and strengthening ER frameworks, through to improving recruitment, leadership capability, systems and data.
This is a
hands-on, senior HR role
with visibility, autonomy and the support of an excellent Corporate Services leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
As HR Manager, you will:
* Develop and deliver a
people and culture strategy
aligned to organisational values and growth plans
* Lead a
full HR audit
, ensuring contracts, policies, benefits and governance are robust and compliant
* Provide confident, pragmatic advice on
employee relations and IR matters
, including WRC-related issues
* Strengthen compliance, reporting and KPIs across a regulated environment (Gender Pay Gap, Pay Transparency, EDI)
* Overhaul recruitment processes to significantly improve
candidate and employer brand experience
* Manage outsourced HR partners, with responsibility for
preparing HR to move fully in-house
* Review and implement HR systems and analytics to improve accuracy, insight and decision-making
* Support organisational change, digitalisation and transformation initiatives
* Coach and upskill managers, addressing gaps in
people management capability
* Partner with Finance on payroll, benefits, benchmarking and HR budgets
* Champion inclusion, wellbeing, open communication and a positive, high-performance culture
About You
You are a
credible, commercially aware HR leader
who combines strong technical expertise with empathy, judgement and confidence.
You'll bring:
* A degree in HR or related discipline and
Chartered CIPD membership
* Proven experience operating at
HR Manager / Senior HR level
, ideally in a regulated, growing organisation
* Strong hands-on knowledge of
Irish employment law
, ER and IR (WRC exposure essential)
* Demonstrated experience delivering HR audits, governance improvements and change initiatives
* Confidence presenting to and influencing
senior leadership and C-suite
stakeholders
* Excellent attention to detail and integrity in HR data, reporting and advice
* A practical, solutions-focused approach — calm, fair and people-centred
* Curiosity, adaptability and the ability to "see around corners"
* High energy, strong work ethic and
a good sense of humour
A full driving licence and access to a car are required.
