The Receptionist would be working with all departments and providing the best possible customer care and administrative support, creating a friendly environment where queries are handled professionally and with confidentiality.
Availability
Availability requirement: every Sunday, every second Saturday, every second bank holiday, and support to cover annual leave.
Responsibilities
Operate the switchboard and redirect calls professionally and courteously.
Maintain an organized, neat and tidy desk.
Provide secretarial support for managers as needed.
Proficient use of Word, e‑mail, internet, Excel, PowerPoint, photocopier, franking machine, fax machine and other office equipment.
Complete all paperwork related to admitting and discharging residents.
Input residents’ details into files to ensure all are up to date.
Receive and record cash receipts; issue receipts to customers.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail.
Refer any queries regarding bed vacancies to the relevant manager.
File residents’ details and archive old files.
Order supplies using the company purchasing system.
Co‑ordinate complaints handling and compliance with the Complaints policy.
Person Specification Requirements
Knowledge of IT skills.
Good knowledge of Health and Safety.
Ability to work well within a team.
Adaptable.
