Job Title: Course Co-Ordinator
Innopharma Education:
Innopharma Education are currently recruiting a course co-ordinator to support the administration of its academic programmes. The College offers programmes ranging from Level 5 to Level 9 both independently and through its collaborative partnerships with Griffith College Dublin and Technological University Dublin. As our programme offerings continue to grow we are recruiting a Course-Coordinator to support our current and future programmes.
The Responsibilities:
The Course Coordinator is responsible for all administrative activities relating to the running of academic programme(s) at Innopharma Education.
Working closely with the Programme Lead and the Programme Administration Manager, the key responsibilities for the role include the following,
Learner Recruitment and Registration
* In conjunction with the Programme Lead, Programme Faculty as well as Marketing, support the recruitment of new learners on to the programme.
* Provide administration support required in the registration and re-registration of applicants.
* Ensure all documentation is correct and in place prior to registration.
* Support the documentation process for applicants who gain access to programmes based on recognition of prior learning.
Course Timetables and Course Lecturers
* In conjunction with the Programme Lead, create and manage the course timetables for part time and full time learners.
* Liaise with all lecturers to agree assignment dates and ensure any revisions are communicated to all stakeholders.
* Work with Resource Management to identify room requirements for each programme.
Learning Management Systems (LMS) Administration
* Support access to the LMS (Moodle) for learners and lecturers.
* Provide administration support to learners.
* Support lecturers to upload materials to the Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle) if required.
Daily Administrative Duties
* Act as Administration Point of Contact for part time learners on specific programmes.
* Respond to ongoing queries to all learners and support them through their course
* Manage and monitor learner attendance and engagement.
* Ensure all academic activities are compliant as per the college policies and procedures.
* In liaison with the Programme Leads, process documentation to reflect change in learner status.
* Archive all documentation as per policy guidelines.
* Liaise with Programme Leads to collect information and collate Annual Programme Reviews.
Examination Support
* Support the Exams process to ensure learners have visibility on exam schedules.
* Assist in the provision of special requirements to learners if required
* Assist in the collation and approval of all module assignments.
* Assist in the collection, distribution and archiving of exam scripts.
* Assist in the completion of QA of the exam grades in the assessment recording system.
Online Support
* Be familiar with the online learner support process and the list of online support providers.
Graduation
* Support the Graduation process as required, both centrally and regionally.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in education, administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
* Flexible and adaptable, willing to support evening activities or weekends if required.
* Proficiency in MS Office and learning management systems is a plus.
* Passion for education and a commitment to fostering student success.
Location:
* The role is full time and the ideal applicant will be able to work from either our campus in Sandyford or our office based in Griffith College Dublin.
