Morgan McKinley are delighted to be partnering once again with our client, a leading chemical solutions provider, based in Shannon. We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join the team, reporting directly to the customer service manager. This role is based fully on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders via phone/email and input them into company systems.
- Provide delivery timelines and update customer/order details as needed.
- Coordinate with production and technical teams on changes or site readiness.
- Schedule and assign daily deliveries to Chemifloc and third-party carriers.
- Upload delivery/collection info to logistics platforms and manage related queries.
- Arrange supplier collections and communicate details to depots and hauliers.
- Complete post-delivery admin, attach required documents, and close orders for invoicing.
- Support customer service improvements and assist with system updates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong IT skills, including ERP systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Skilled in handling customer enquiries, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring prompt support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work across locations.
- Must have the right to work in the EU; logistics or freight experience is a plus.
