Job Title – Finishing Foreman
Project – Residential
Job Location – 10 Minutes from Bray in Co Wicklow
Salary – €60,000 - €75,000 + package
About the Company
My client is seeking a Finishing Foreman for an exciting high-volume development not far from Bray in Co.
Wicklow.
They seek an experience finishing foreman with an eye for quality, ability to push on programmes and motivate the teams – overseeing all finishing trades.
Successful candidate will be looking after all finished from 1st fix of M&E through to handover on a mixture of houses, duplexes and low-rise apartments.
The current phase has 2 years of work left on it with more phases to follow so long-term work for the right person
The Role
Coordination and supervision of the finishing for residential development with 600+ units.
Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
Report into and support the Project Manager and Site Manager
Oversee and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
Oversee the procurement of materials and ensure that site requirements are met without exceeding budget.
Managing sub-contractors, trades and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high and works are completed on time and within budget.
Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
Requirements
A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Background (carpentry/ joinery preferred)
A minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar role with a construction company in ROI – main contractor or developer experience preferred
