We Are Hiring: Business Development Manager, Full-time permanent contract About the Role We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to help us grow our pipeline of international conferences and events. In this role, you will develop new opportunities, research future bids, build relationships, and collaborate with our wider Sales Team in securing major events for our venue and destination. Key Responsibilities · Lead Generation & Research · Develop a strong pipeline of qualified international opportunities. · Research upcoming conferences and bid opportunities. · Track and manage bid deadlines and keep the bid calendar updated. · Identify and nurture contacts who can support future bookings. Collaboration & Bid Support · Collaborate with the Sales Team to build a community of conference ambassadors. · Qualify opportunities based on size, suitability and alignment with our offering. · Share qualified leads with Account Managers to ensure a smooth handover. Outreach, Networking & Industry Engagement · Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, on targeting and outreach. · Represent the organisation at industry events and networking forums. Systems & Market Insight · Maintain accurate lead data in the CRM. · Stay informed about industry trends and share insights. · Complete other duties or projects as required. Person Specification We're looking for someone who is proactive, curious and confident building relationships. You enjoy working in a supportive team and take pride in delivering high‑quality work.
