They are now recruiting a dynamic Director of Sales & Marketingwho can drive the team to even further levels of success while fostering a positive work environment.
This role is available on a fixed-term contract until January 2026 on either full or part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities: Sales: Plan and direct the day-to-day operations of the sales and marketing department to maximize revenue and profitability while providing exceptional service to all clients.
Daily sales activities to include: lead generation, face-to-face meetings, contract negotiations, site inspections, trade show attendance, client entertainment, and national/international sales trips.
Regular engagement with and mentoring of the Sales & Marketing team, developing the talent pipeline.
Perform monthly tracking of corporate accounts to assess production levels, identify any declines, and take corrective action as necessary.
Identify and manage all Corporate and Consortia Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for the city, ensuring maximum participation from the hotels.
Analyze GDS production reports and intelligence information to enhance business channel strategies.
Focus on driving meeting and conference business into the hotel.
Provide weekly and monthly reports on account performance and general activities to the General Manager and Central Office.
Ensure accurate processing, distribution, recording, filing, and follow-up of all sales correspondence, including contracts, quotations, confirmations, and cancellations.
Utilize a CRM system for client database management.
Contribute to the hotels pricing strategy and forecasting in collaboration with the General Manager and Revenue Manager.
Marketing: Oversee annual marketing budget.
Develop and execute quarterly activity plans to ensure team focus and adapt activities to meet business needs.
Devise and implement hotel sales and marketing promotional campaigns through local and national media, evaluating and reporting on the return on investment (ROI) of these campaigns.
Organize regular corporate entertainment events.
Create printed promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, special offers, posters, and tent cards, by brand standards.
Manage online marketing efforts and the hotel website, focusing on content development and driving customers to direct sales channels.
Attend group consumer and trade promotions as needed and schedule relevant individual promotions for the hotel.
The ideal candidate: Minimum of three years experience as Director of Sales/Assistant Director of Sales within a large, quality hotel establishment.
Knowledge of the Dublin market essential.
A creative thinker with an outgoing personality, capable of building new relationships and maintaining existing ones.
Proven experience in effective people management within a team environment.
Sales-focused, target-driven, and results-oriented.
Excellent commercial awareness with strong analytical skills, able to understand key business indicators and competitive trends.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear reports to clients and colleagues.
