Job Description
Our organization is seeking a talented Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site support to our customers by performing installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of complex capital equipment and systems.
You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical information to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze and diagnose hardware and software issues on state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
* Implement factory-issued hardware and software upgrades.
* Utilize technical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&ID drawings to resolve complex system issues.
Requirements
* Higher Certificate/Apprenticeship (NFQ level 6) in a technical field with a minimum of three years experience in a HVM environment or an Ordinary Bachelor's Degree (NFQ level 7) in a technical field with a minimum of one year experience.
* Extensive experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software (PLC) systems is desirable.
* Ability to deliver clear and concise information to both internal and external customers.
