We are seeking a ICT Technical Project Manager to support the delivery of short-duration software projects within a fast-paced private-sector environment. This role will focus primarily on managing client implementations of conversions, mergers/splits and new clients. You may also be required to manage enhancements to existing software, with some involvement in bespoke solution delivery.You will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure projects are planned effectively and delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesProject DeliverySupport and manage the delivery of short lifecycle ICT/software projects.Plan and track project timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.Coordinate User Acceptance Testing, training and live deployment.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards.Requirements & ScopeBe responsible for requirements gathering and documentation.Support scope definition and manage change requests.Monitor and control scope creep.Stakeholder & Communication ManagementProactive and visible leadership by example with high accountabilityClear and timely client communication focussing on client availability, existing client resources and client expectations using a client-centric approach.Engage with business stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.Provide regular status updates and reporting.Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and reviews.Identify and track project risks and issues.Escalate blockers and support resolution.Software & Bespoke DeliveryManage projects involving existing business systems and software platforms.Support delivery of bespoke developments and system enhancements.Work with developers, analysts, and vendors to translate requirements into delivery plans.Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseEssentialUp to 5 years' experience in ICT or software project delivery.IT Third Level qualification in computer science, engineering, computer information science, information technology, or a related field.Project Management qualification or working towards one (PRINCE2, PMP, PMBOK or similar)Experience supporting delivery of software implementation, enhancement, or bespoke development projects.Strong technical literacy and understanding of software delivery environments.Experience in project planning, coordination, and execution.Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs and applicationsHigh level of PC and IT skills including hardware familiarity and usageCore CompetenciesStakeholder engagement and relationship managementCommunication management (clear written and verbal updates)Scope and requirements gatheringTime management and prioritisationProblem solving and decision makingOrganisation and attention to detailAbility to work in fast-paced delivery environmentsDesirableDomain knowledge and/or experience with solicitors or legal functions would desirable.Job BenefitsAt Dye & Durham we strive to be visionaries As a leader in our field, we ensure our employees are ready for the next challenge in their journey with us by offering internal and external training opportunities.
