Overview
Waterford, MI — Full Time. AnthroMed Education is expanding our team of SLPs who support our students throughout Michigan, and we want you to be part of our team! We are currently hiring an SLP for one charter school partner. This position is in one building, with a manageable caseload. Position Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist. Grade Level: K-8th Grade. Location: Waterford, MI.
Compensation: Full salary paid weekly (school year salary or 52-week salary) ranging from $55,000 - $75,000 based on experience. Benefits: United Healthcare PPO plan with 100% employer-paid premium (no premium cost from your paycheck).
Support: A Clinical Director provides supervision, mentorship, and dedicated caseload support throughout the school year.
Responsibilities
* Evaluate students’ speech-language abilities to prepare and conduct treatment plans
* Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services to students according to IEPs
* Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop reports on strengths and concerns in areas such as speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills
* Use professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuing education to inform practice decisions
* Create an efficient learning environment with effective process management and transition materials
* Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings
* Develop strength-based, child- and family-centered treatment plans in collaboration with instructional staff
* Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery align with school, state, and federal guidelines
* Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected or identified speech and language delays/disorders
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
* Valid MI SLP license
