Job Description
Provence Food Company Limited is looking for an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and support the Head Chef in the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen. In this role, you will assist in managing all aspects of food preparation and service, ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen meets the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency. You will be responsible for supervising and training kitchen staff, monitoring stock and ordering supplies as needed, and maintaining strict compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations. The Sous Chef will also play a key part in menu development, working closely with the Head Chef to create seasonal dishes and daily specials while controlling food costs and minimizing waste. This position requires excellent organizational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to step up and lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef. To be successful, you should bring proven culinary expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Salary: 34000, 39 hours per week, 16.77 per hour
