Overview An established accountancy practice in Kerry is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage bookkeeping and payroll services for a portfolio of clients. This role requires strong technical skills, practice experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records across multiple client accounts Process bank reconciliations, invoices, and journals Prepare VAT returns and process payroll Assist with management accounts and year-end preparation Liaise with clients to resolve queries and gather documentation Work with cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) Requirements 3+ years experience in a practice-based bookkeeping role Strong knowledge of Irish VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping standards Proficiency in accounting software and Excel Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills Skills: VAT returns accounting bookkeeping
