Job Title Child Mental Health Specialist Key Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to develop tailored treatment plans that prioritize child-centered care. * Deliver individualized and group-based therapies as appropriate, grounded in evidence-informed practices. * Engage in collaborative goal-setting, case formulation, and consultation with parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the child's care. * Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and professional growth opportunities. Eligibility Criteria * Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology and/or Chartered Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist status through relevant governing bodies. * Candidates must hold eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland. * Demonstrable expertise in a range of psychological assessment and therapeutic models. * Experience delivering interventions to children and families, with excellent clinical skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work autonomously and manage a diverse caseload. * Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
