Your impact
As part of a global team of over 2,000 professionals, our Town Planning Team delivers an extensive portfolio of Planning and Consents solutions across a diverse range of high‑profile infrastructure projects for critical industries including Rail, Water, Energy, Transport and Airports.
Responsibilities
Technical direction of projects within the team.
Strengthen client partnerships while driving strategic growth in Town Planning across Ireland.
Analyse legislation, national and local planning policies to guide client proposals and facilitate successful consenting.
Coordinate consent applications (including planning applications and Strategic Infrastructure Development).
Manage reports, development plans submissions, planning appraisals, Environmental Impact Assessment reports and appeals.
Support the development of partnership‑based stakeholder relationships to ensure delivery of client‑focused solutions.
Oversee the development of the wider team, ensuring effective mentoring to support career progression and team success.
Qualifications
A recognised planning qualification (IPI or RTPI).
Strong knowledge of Irish planning legislation and its application to infrastructure projects.
Ability to apply relevant policy and legislation to define effective consenting strategies.
Experience of bidding/tendering for internal and external opportunities and strong commercial awareness.
Experience of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and how it applies to major development projects.
